Randy Landreneau and Paul Morinville

2 Inventor Heros

On September 16, 2011 President Obama signed into law the America Invents Act (AIA) which literally destroyed the patent system that made our country a world economic leader by taking away an inventors right to exclude others from making or using their claimed invention. It also took away our right to sue an infringer and turned the PTAB from an inexpensive way to sue an infringer to a way to invalidate patents.

Most people don’t even know that this happened let alone realize the extended implications. Take away the incentive to invent and no new products appear in the marketplace. Factories begin to shut down, truckers are no longer needed, stores start to close.

Paul Morinville, in 2013, founded US Inventor https://usinventor.org/ , an organization dedicated to restoring our rights as inventors. He wrote articles and walked the halls of congress telling anyone who would listen about this disastrous situation.

Randy Landreneau joined Paul in 2014 and later took over running the organization in 2018. They are back together and working even harder to restore our rights.

No one knows more about pending legislation both good and bad, the positive and negative members of congress, then these gentlemen. They are going to bring us up to speed regarding all of these important issues and most importantly, what WE can do about them.

If you don’t believe how horrendous this situation is, go on their website https://usinventor.org/ , click on About and select inventors from the drop-down menu. There are dozens of horrific videos of truly successful inventors whose careers were destroyed by the AIA. This could happen to YOU!
