If you are an inventor, you can show your invention to possible investors and product scouts. You can do market research by polling the attendees and do the best market research of all by selling your product if you have some to sell!
If you are a service provider, take a booth and get ready to have a lot of people ask about your services or at least come to the show with a stack of cards. You never know who you might meet.
